This course is for postgraduate students who wish to gain detailed cyber security technical skills and expertise. It incorporates principles gathered from information systems, systems engineering, computer science, network security, and defence.

The Master of Cyber Security is offered primarily via Intensive Delivery Mode due to the nature of the courses and the use of the training facilities at UNSW Canberra Cyber. The Cyber Range includes a digital forensics lab and virtual learning environments where our students learn how to identify and manage cyber threats.

  • Students undertaking Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security are required to complete 24 Units of Credit (UOC) by completing four 6-UOC courses from the list in the Handbook entry for the program.

    In the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security program, students must complete at least 12 UOC, up to 24 UOC, from the core courses list and up to 12 UOC from the elective courses list.
