At UNSW Canberra’s School of Engineering and Information Technology, our mission is to educate the women and men who will lead Australia's defence and technology future. We aim to present a richer image of engineering that includes not just the current state of the art in Defence-relevant technologies, but also provides the context that makes technology important. We are developing a community of learners through outreach and education who will make our country stronger through innovation.
Our job is to create leaders who have a passion for life-long learning. We constantly innovate the educational environment, taking advantage of our unique situation, relationships, and student body. Our goal is to encourage young people from all backgrounds to consider a career in engineering to prepare Australia to meet the challenges of the future.
