In-house delivery

All our short courses are available for in-house delivery at your organisation’s premises. In-house courses allow maximum attendance without the additional travel costs.

Postgraduate credit

UNSW Canberra allows students who have successfully completed approved short courses to use those courses as credit towards eligible postgraduate programs in one of two ways: 

  1. Credit for Professional Practice.
  2. Credit towards micro-credential postgraduate courses.

  • Attendance

    UNSW Canberra courses are open to Defence and Non Defence personnel. All attendees receive a UNSW Canberra certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the course. If there course is assessable, and you pass the assessment, you will also receive a certificate of completion.

    Catering

    Most course fees include morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch. Please check your course confirmation letter for catering arrangements for your course.

    In some situations, you may feel that you want to make a complaint. In such situations, UNSW Canberra has the following complaints process:

    • In the first instance, complaints should be resolved by a process of discussion, cooperation, and conciliation directly with the person(s) concerned.
    • Where it is not possible to resolve the matter directly, the complaint will be referred to the Manager of External Relations and Business Development. The Manager may ask for the complaint to be put in writing.
    • If further investigation is required the complaint will be referred to the Rector for final consideration and a decision on the outcome of the complaint.
    • Complaints which cannot be resolved internally may be directed to an independent third party such as the ACT Office of Fair Trading 02 6207 0400 fair.trading@act.gov.au

    All complaints and their outcomes are recorded. Complaints received in writing will receive a written response.
