Dr. Jing Rao is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and IT at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, specialized in non-destructive evaluation. Before coming to UNSW, she was a Humboldt research fellowship holder in the Chair of Computational Modeling and Simulation at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. After completing her Ph.D. at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, she was a postdoc in her Ph.D. group.
Dr. Jing Rao is Associate Editor of Ultrasonic Imaging and Guest Editor of Sensors and Frontiers in Materials. She holds memberships in a variety of professional organizations including Member of Acoustical Society of America, Member of Australian Acoustical Society, and Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
